SUP festival “On the same wave” started at Kenon in Chita

(6+) In Chita, on Lake Kenon, the stand-up surfing festival “On the same wave” has started. More than 30 participants will compete for the opportunity to represent Transbaikalia at the All-Russian competitions in Moscow, the correspondent of MK in Chita said.
Inna Shcheglova, deputy chairman of the regional government, took part in the opening ceremony of the festival. She thanked the Federation of Rafting and Sports Tourism for organizing the festival.
“I believe that we have no right not to hold such competitions, having a large reservoir within the city. Be careful, take care of yourself, I wish each of you victory and, first of all, victory over yourself,” she addressed the participants.
Competitions will be held at two distances for four categories of participants: men and women, professionals and amateurs.
