So, it’s time to figure out what to spend the coming summer.
Wide leg jeans and trousers
Skinny jeans and tight pants have been losing ground for a couple of years: they can be seen less and less on the catwalks, and on the streets too. More and more designers and fashionistas prefer loose-fitting trousers and jeans. This is not surprising, given how rampant the oversized trend has become. This season, it’s best to forget about the tight fit and combine large tees with wide jeans, trousers and cargo.
Double denim
A trend that periodically returns to the catwalks is the so-called double denim. Previously, it was customary to wear a denim top and bottom, at least in different shades – with blue jeans, wear a dark denim jacket and vice versa. The double denim trend, on the contrary, emphasizes ensembles of the same shade.
Pajamas
Another trend that returned to the catwalks after a few years. The last time pajamas won the love of fashionistas around the world around 2015. Now couture relaxed again makes itself felt. Some brands have opted to completely dress their models in pajamas, such as Bianca Saunders or Emporio Armani. Others – among them Comme des Garcons – used only elements of home style (trousers) in their looks.
Strip
Stripes are a must-have summer trend. And it doesn’t matter what it refers to – it can be a tribute to the preppy style of American students, the legacy of classic rugby or a marine theme. A vertical or horizontal stripe on clothes will always be in trend in the warm season.
Shorts
You won’t surprise anyone with shorts in summer, but this trend should focus on length. Designers recommend this season to choose the shortest model. In the city, perhaps, in such shorts it may be uncomfortable, but for the beach season it is better not to choose an option.
cowboy aesthetic
Western aesthetics, or cowboy style, has been confident in women’s fashion for several seasons – remember at least the general trend for cowboy boots. Now he has migrated to the men’s catwalks. Fortunately, there are plenty to choose from: in addition to the same cowboy boots, you can turn to jeans, bloopers and shirts with Americana details.
