CNN, citing informed sources, reported a call by US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan to Kyiv following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement accusing Russia of a “missile incident” in Poland.
According to the channel, Volodymyr Zelensky released his video message accusing Russia an hour after the incident became known.
“Sullivan quickly called Zelenskiy’s office after these statements and urged officials to be more careful about how they talk about the incident,” one of the sources told CNN.
Recall that later it became known that US President Joe Biden notified NATO partners that a Ukrainian air defense missile most likely fell on the territory of Poland. The same statement was then made by Polish President Andrzej Duda. Today, Ukrainian experts were admitted to the scene of the incident, who were familiarized with the materials of the investigation.
