The tiger, caught near the village of Bichevaya in the Lazo region of the Khabarovsk Territory, is an adult male with many injuries. This was announced by the Center “Amur tiger”.
Firstly, on his front paw there are visible old injuries received as a result of falling into a trap: a fracture and the loss of two “fingers”. The bone healing process in the wild has resulted in limited mobility.
Secondly, the tiger suffered dental injuries, probably while trying to free himself from the trap.
Third, the predator has trauma to the nasal septum and upper lip, which may also be related to human exposure.
