The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation published on its website the concept of teaching national history approved the day before for non-core specialties and areas of training, which, according to the head of the department, defines “the minimum content that all students must learn.” Training based on it will begin on September 1, 2023. As stated in the document, the time frame for the updated course of history includes the period from the appearance of people on the territory of Russia until 2022.

The course of history, according to statements made earlier by representatives of the department, is supposed to be taught in the amount of at least 144 hours.
