Almost a thousand students of the capital’s colleges will go to the Avangard educational and methodological center near Moscow on the weekend to undergo training camps on the basics of military service.
Collections traditionally take five days. During this time, the guys will go through tactical, fire, technical, drill, military-medical, physical training, and also get acquainted with the RCB protection. The volume of the program is 35 hours.
As noted by the head of the center for military-patriotic education, Daria Borisova, for the time being, graduate students from colleges in Moscow and the Moscow region will come to the training camp. These are young men who are already 18 years old. They will go through a more complex program at Avangard than the one that schoolchildren go through. And this is natural, given the age characteristics.
– In addition to the main academic disciplines, cadets will become participants in events focused on the comprehensive development of the individual. For example, as part of the project “The Other Side of the Star”, students will meet famous people who have achieved high results in various fields of activity. The military, awarded the title of Hero of Russia, cosmonauts, Olympic champions, popular artists, politicians, young scientists, entrepreneurs, journalists will come to visit the cadets,” said Daria Borisova.
All days, the participants of the camp spend time without gadgets with Internet access, only push-button phones are allowed, the rest of the devices are deposited. However, there would still be no time for a smartphone, the program is so intense that the schedule is written down to the minute.
It is planned that training camps for college students at the Avangard Center will be held from November 20, 2022 to March 17, 2023. About 15,000 people will be trained in nine five-day shifts.
