From the next academic year, students of medical pre-professional classes in the capital’s schools will be able to receive certificates of vocational training and, as a result, documents confirming that they have obtained the profession of “junior medical worker”. With such a document, the guys will be able to get a job in medical institutions.
Obtaining a certificate of vocational training by high school students will become possible as a result of the “introduction” into the education system of a new standard of pre-professional education, which involves active internships for schoolchildren at specialized enterprises. Thus, students of medical classes will study in medical institutions the basics of infectious safety and the rules of communication with patients, the skills of caring for bedridden patients, and performing simple manipulations for them.
First, they will practice these skills on simulators and trainers, and then, if desired, in clinics, medical hospitals and even at ambulance substations. It is assumed that after such training they will “leave” the school with a finished profession.
