The system of pre-professional school education assumes that students, firstly, study in depth subjects that are relevant for their future specialty, for example, engineers – physics and computer science, humanities – literature and history, doctors – chemistry and biology. So, in the capital’s Department of Education and Science, it was decided that excursions to the ambulance substations will be organized for students of medical classes, where the guys will be able to get acquainted with the principles of their work, see simulation classes organized at our substations, where doctors, paramedics and nurses can improve your skills. The children will also learn what medical equipment the mobile teams are equipped with. By the way, at the beginning of the year, excursions to city polyclinics were actively organized for students of pre-professional medical classes, where they learned how patients are received.
According to Natalia Kiseleva, deputy head of the Moscow Department of Education and Science, pre-professional education projects in schools are constantly being improved, taking into account the wishes of students and the requests of employers.
“The capital’s high school students can already now immerse themselves in their chosen profession, see from the inside how the activities of institutions and enterprises are arranged, where they dream and are going to work,” said Natalia Kiseleva. “For example, the city provides students of medical classes with a unique opportunity to see the work of doctors of various specialties, get acquainted with modern equipment and digital technologies in the field of healthcare. Also, within the framework of the new standard of pre-vocational education, in parallel with studying at school, students of medical classes undergo training in colleges under the program “Junior Nurse” and, along with a certificate, receive a certificate of profession.
