Media classes are one of the areas of pre-professional training in the senior classes of Moscow secondary educational institutions. The guys who study in media classes are most often preparing to enter such faculties of universities as journalism and PR, so they study Russian, literature, social studies, and foreign languages in depth.
As part of the training program in media classes, it was decided to hold a series of meetings for students in grades 10-11 with a team that is preparing vertical video applications. According to Natalia Kiseleva, deputy head of the Moscow Department of Education and Science, high school students who want to make a career in the media business and blogging will get acquainted with the specifics of a technology startup. Also, the guys will learn how to make and develop a mobile application with a focus on short vertical videos and what competencies are needed for this, how to start and develop a media career, how to promote trending content, how to behave in social networks.
“Excursions to enterprises are necessary so that schoolchildren can personally get acquainted with the features of the chosen specialty, communicate with its representatives, soberly assess the level of its complexity and their interest in it,” the representative of the department specified.

From the next academic year, high school students will begin training according to the “New Standard”. It is assumed that students will visit specialized enterprises of the capital in order to see the chosen area from the inside, they will be able to undergo training in the chosen specialty in college in order to receive a certificate of profession along with the school certificate.
