Its goal is not only to identify the strongest athletes, but also to give an additional chance to get points for the final rating, the results of which will be summed up in a week.
The Spartakiad is held in seven sports: streetball, volleyball, football, table tennis, chess and checkers, the sports game “Gorodki”. For each sport, more than twenty applications from teams were submitted. The competitions in the sports game “Gorodki” have already been held, where the first place was taken by the student construction team “Korabel”. The second was the student squad of guides “Drakkar”, and the student search squad “Sign” won the bronze. Also on September 22, checkers and chess competitions ended.
And on September 23, table tennis and streetball competitions were held. 8 women’s and 13 men’s teams entered the site of the new street basketball center in Arkhangelsk.
The Spartakiad of student teams of the Arkhangelsk region will end on Sunday, and the winners will be awarded, who will receive certificates of honor and prizes, during the closing ceremony of the Third Labor Semester on October 3.
