For the first time, team competitions in tactical medicine among medical college students were held in Nevinnomyssk. The organizers were medical educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Health.

According to the mayor of the city, Mikhail Minenkov, the goal of the competition was to develop and consolidate the skills of basic military training and first aid in combat conditions, as well as to instill feelings of patriotism, camaraderie, and responsibility among students.

“I am sure that in our time such events are necessary and important – a real health worker should be able to provide assistance and save people in any situation,” the mayor added.

Future doctors competed in various tests: putting on a gas mask, filling individual first aid kits, assembling and disassembling a machine gun, providing first aid for bleeding, evacuating a patient, and much more. By the way, all the guys showed decent results and successfully passed the tests.
