STS taught actor Timofey Yeletsky how to milk a cow

On April 10 at 19.00 STS will host the all-Russian TV premiere of the comedy series Against All with Nikolai Dobrynin, Sergey Lavygin and Alexandra Ursulyak in the lead roles.

According to the plot, the main character – grandfather Zakhar (Nikolai Dobrynin) – had to go on principle and get involved in a fight with an impudent developer (Sergey Belyaev). The stubborn Zakhar refuses to sell the land and is ready to go all the way, even when disgruntled tenants of the high-rise building organize rallies, grandson Bogdan (Timofey Yeletsky) falls in love with the developer’s daughter Maya (Vasilina Yuskovets), and his sons Vitek and German (Sergey Lavygin) can cripple each other in the battle for the beloved woman Vasya (Alexandra Ursulyak).

The performer of the role of grandfather, Nikolai Dobrynin, admitted that the harsh nature of Zakhar became the main test for him. The actor also added that the most difficult scene in the series was the one in which the hero drowns in a swamp: “The artists did amazing picturesque swamp. For poleand hours iloaded with head underwater, holding a 30 kg bag. It was necessary, so that the water does not push the body.

The main “trick” for Sergei Lavygin was the performance of two roles at once – twin brothers. “It all starts with make-up and a costume, and then facial expressions, plasticity and a certain characteristic are added. And each character has its own set of traits. But which ones, the viewer will have to find out by watching the series, ” — said the actor.

Before filming, the team looked at more than twenty buildings in Moscow and the Moscow region and eventually settled on a residential complex in Lyubertsy. It took several months to develop a location plan together with landscape designers and build scenery, then a month to cover the playground with imported soil and a month to build scenery. A private house appeared on the territory of the complex with a barn, pens for chickens and rabbits, an outdoor toilet, a well and other attributes of village life.

“I am grateful to the artists for the skill with which they recreated the village site. When I arrived at the set, I really felt that I was not in the scenery, but somewhere in the village, especially since we were surrounded by a real high-rise building, ” shared Alexandra Ursulyak. The actress added that on the set she learned how to milk a cow: “I made friends with a cow and in general got the first such experience – to play a simple girl on the farm.”

Alexandra’s screen son Timofey Yeletsky learned not only to milk a cow, but also to play basketball. “To me gave the coach who showed the main tricks of the game. I got so carried away that I could probably achieve good results in the future, ” — admitted the actor.
