The Ural Federal District powerlifting championship takes place in Tarko-Sale. These are not simple competitions, but selection for all-Russian competitions, the press service of the Purovsky District Administration reported on December 8.
The event brought together 74 athletes from the Tyumen, Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, YaNAO and KhMAO. Among these strongmen there are masters of sports of international class, champions and winners, world, European and Russian record holders.
Earlier we said that in Novy Urengoy are all-Russian competition in the northern all-around. Participants arrived from the Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk Territories, Magadan and Tyumen Regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Yamalo-Nenets, Khanty-Mansiysk, Chukotka and Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, Evenki Municipal District.
