Lawyer: Strelkov can leave the colony as a volunteer for the SVO
Ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov (Girkin), sentenced to 4 years for extremism, can volunteer to go to the front from the colony. This was stated by his lawyer Alexander Molokhov.
The defender believes that the option of releasing his ward on parole is also not excluded.
Molokhov recalled that Strelkov had repeatedly said since the beginning of the Northern Military District that he wanted to go to the front. But allegedly such conditions were created that he could not get there.
“I do not rule out that as a result of these events, common sense will prevail and the military man will be given the opportunity to act as he sees fit. Namely, to counteract the enemy, Ukraine, which he believes should disappear,” the lawyer concluded.
