Stoltenberg called the start date for the training of Ukrainian pilots on the F-16

Stoltenberg said that Ukrainian pilots will begin to train on the F-16 before the end of the summer

The training of Ukrainian pilots for flights on F-16 aircraft has not yet started. It may begin before the end of the summer, the timing of the delivery of fighters is being discussed. This statement was made by NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg at a press conference with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Now certain preparations will be carried out, there is a possibility that it will begin before the end of summer. And this creates the conditions to provide (to Ukraine. – “MK”) F-16,” Stoltenberg said.

He reacted positively to the creation of a coalition by NATO members to train pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the F-16.

Earlier, after negotiations at the NATO summit in Vilnius, Zelensky announced the start of training pilots of the Ukrainian army on the F-16 in August.
