NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, before the start of the meeting of the Contact Group on Support to Ukraine at the Ramstein base in Germany, announced a discussion on the supply of aircraft to Kyiv.
The head of the alliance noted that the allies had already provided aircraft to Ukraine.
“Poland provided the MiG-29,” Stoltenberg recalled.
He added that negotiations are currently underway to provide Ukraine with “other types of aircraft.”
Stoltenberg did not specify whether it was about the F-16 fighters, which Kyiv had previously requested.
Jens Stoltenberg’s press conference was broadcast on the NATO website.
