StavropolAgroSoyuz for the first time reached the third round of the Russian Football Cup

The match of the second stage of the Russian Football Cup was hosted by Stavropol.

On August 31, at the Dynamo stadium, battles unfolded between Nevinnomyssk StavropolAgroSoyuz and Makhachkala Legion.

However, focusing on defense, the teams ended the first half in a draw.

In the second half, after a dangerous free-kick, the home team carried out a quick counterattack and earned a penalty. Kick from the spot realized Vladislav Kablakhov: 2-1.

Mobilized by the second goal into his own net, the sports opponent of the Stavropol team began to recoup. Success came in the 64th minute. “Legionnaire” Vagabov managed to send the ball, beating the goalkeeper of Stavropol: 2-2.

But soon, after three minutes, the StavropolAgroSoyuz players again took the advantage. The free kick was converted by Dmitry Mutiev, leading the team to a 3-2 score.

On the 75th minute, Nikolay Fedorov, the goalkeeper of the Legion, burst into the penalty area and skillfully threw it 4-2 in favor of the home team. Makhachkala residents, who rushed to the attack, played one ball.

The subsequent assault, in stoppage time, left the victory for the Stavropol team.

Football players from Nevinnomyssk did not see any more goals scored.
