Stavropol runners broke personal records at the White Nights marathon in St. Petersburg

More than 12 thousand runners from all over the country competed at the White Nights marathon in St. Petersburg. The distance route began on Petrovskaya Embankment and ended on Palace Square.
According to the results of the race at a distance of 10 kilometers among professionals in the women’s category, 4th place was taken by Valeria Zhandarova – the Stavropol woman set a personal record – 32 minutes 56 seconds. At the main distance, Andrey Sokolov ran the marathon in 3 hours 17 minutes 25 seconds. Among women, Maria Lebedeva finished with a result of 3 hours 36 minutes 37 seconds.
Among amateur athletes, Konstantin Sychov from Stavropol became the best at a distance of 10 kilometers. He updated his personal best to 37 minutes 9 seconds.
Previously it was reported that Stavropol divers won 4 gold and 2 bronze medals at the Russian Championship.
