Stavropol residents became winners of the Russian championship in radio direction finding

The Stavropol team took silver and bronze medals in the Russian championship in sports radio direction finding, which was recently held in the northern capital of Russia – the city of St. Petersburg.
The competition lasted a week. Athletes competed in several disciplines: radio orienteering, sprint and classical distances.
As part of the Stavropol Territory team, Denis Golybin, a pupil of sports school No. 5, took silver and bronze in the sprint and 3.5 MHz classic disciplines. Pupils of the same school, Andrei Zelensky and Oleg Zhirov, took bronze in the team championship, the press service of the Stavropol administration reports.
