Stavropol residents became winners of the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competition

At the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competitions in Tula, students of the Novoaleksandrovsk sports school showed good results. Alexander Melikhov and Alexander Markin won 1st and 3rd places, respectively.
Melikhov competes in the 62 kg weight category, Markin – 52 kg, the age category of both athletes is 16-17 years. Based on the results of the competition, Alexander Melikhov was awarded a cup and a diploma for the best technique.
For these merits, the Novoaleksandrovsk residents had the honor of representing the Stavropol Territory at the Russian Championship 2025! The boys were trained by Mikhail Naipak and Alexander Loskutov, trainers and teachers at the Novoaleksandrovsk sports school.
The competition was held in Tula for the 24th time, and the number of participants is growing every year. This time, 532 participants from 29 regions of Russia competed for awards in four age categories.
