More than 100 people competed in chess, checkers, basketball, table tennis, shuffleboard, darts, as well as standing long jump and medicine ball throwing.
“We try to make sure that these amazingly strong-willed people do not feel disadvantaged,” Mayor Ivan Ulyanchenko emphasized. “The competitions are aimed at the physical and spiritual education and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, strengthening their health.”
According to Ulyanchenko, in order to play sports, it is not necessary to go to the gym, because in the city. there are enough physical culture, sports and rehabilitation opportunities available to everyone.
