Stavropol athletes won 9 medals at taekwondo competitions

Representatives of the Stavropol martial arts sports school won 9 medals at the GTF World Cup Taekwondo international competitions, the press service of the city mayor’s office reported.
The sports forum was held in the capital of Tatarstan. More than 400 participants from 17 countries took part in it. In the team competition, the Russian team confirmed its favorite status. Nazar Vasiliev, a student of the Stavropol martial arts sports school, competed in the weight category up to 58 kg. The athlete won 6 medals at once – two World Cup golds and 4 silver medals.
Natalya Tagieva, a trainer and teacher at the martial arts school, also took part in the competition. She has gold awards in 3 types of programs.
It was previously reported that Kislovodsk athletes won 10 gold medals at the All-Russian festival.
