The head of the State Duma Committee on Social Policy, Yaroslav Nilov, has prepared a bill on compensation by insurance companies for losses associated with the actions of authorities responsible for the condition of roads.
The proposed changes concern the law “On compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.”
According to the amendments, the insurer that has compensated the losses of the victim has the right to recover the amount of insurance compensation from the guilty state bodies, local governments and public utility organizations.
