State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov expressed his opinion on the need for state control over private military companies (PMCs). He explained that this is why the Akhmat volunteer detachment was the first to conclude a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In June, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation signed the first contract with the Akhmat detachment as part of the order on volunteers. This contract determines the legal regulation and activities of Akhmat volunteer units in the special operations zone, as well as the provision of social protection and support measures established by the state to volunteers and their families.
“We expressed our position and were the first to sign this contract on behalf of Ramzan Akhmatovich. We believe that it is better to avoid the presence of private military companies. If they do exist, they should be subject to the control of state bodies. They should operate within the law … And those who are hired for money to perform certain work, in our opinion, should not exist in this way.Everything should take place in the legal field, and we must clearly realize that today we are fighting not with Ukrainians, but with globalism, satanism and non-traditional values “, Delimkhanov said in an interview with Russia 1 TV channel.
