After the discussion of the agenda of the plenary meeting, which is now closed to the press, Mikhail Matveev, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, wrote in his telegram channel that the speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, “proposed changes to the regulations obliging us to notify State Duma deputies about leaving Russia ( except for business trips). The Committee for Control, the chairmen of the committees in which the deputies work, and the vice-speakers – the speaker will have to be notified, the deputy wrote.
After 3:00 pm, the head of the Duma Commission on Regulations, Viktor Pinsky (ER), reported that the text of the corresponding amendment to the Duma Regulations was ready and suggested including it on the agenda. This document has not yet been placed in the Duma database of legislative work, but it will be adopted at the end of the plenary session on January 24.
