State Department: US is aggressively developing security guarantees for Ukraine

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told a press conference that the United States and Ukraine are “aggressively engaged” in developing security guarantees for Kyiv.
At the same time, he noted that he could not name the date when these guarantees would be agreed upon. According to him, subsequent meetings were agreed with the Ukrainian side during the talks.
Miller also explained that the 12 countries that joined the G7’s statement of support for Kyiv would have their own bilateral talks with Ukraine.
“We are doing this aggressively,” the diplomat stressed.
