State Department: the US does not have a “magic pot” to help Ukraine

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that they do not have a “magic pot.” He means that in the absence of a congressional decision on additional appropriations, it is impossible to continue to “draw” aid to Ukraine.
There will be no “magic pot” if Congress does not pass this bill, Miller indicated at the briefing.
The US administration’s request for additional funds (including $61 billion to Ukraine) has stalled in Congress. Republicans are not going to agree on it until the issue of radical immigration reform is resolved.
Meanwhile, the White House previously informed that the funds remaining at its disposal are sufficient for one package of military assistance to Kyiv.
