Stars of the Russian music channel RU.TV take part in the purchase of equipment for the needs of the Northern Military District and hold concerts in workshops for factory workers

In St. Petersburg, at the Obukhov plant of the Almaz-Antey VKO Concern, a concert was held by the stars of the RU.TV channel, the main Russian-language music television channel in the country. The “Music in the Shops” project, organized by RU.TV and Yuri Kiselev, is aimed at supporting the frontline workers forging Victory in the rear, increasing morale and uniting the teams of factories in the military-industrial complex. The stars also participate in the procurement of equipment needed in the Northwestern Military District zone. Production leaders were awarded certificates worth 250 thousand rubles.

“Music in the Shops” is a continuation of the initiative announced at SPIEF 2023 by the creator of “Earthlings” Vladimir Kiselyov to reward military personnel who destroyed Western-made tanks and heavy armored vehicles during the Northern Defense Forces.

The group “Zemlyane”, Irina Dubtsova, Nikolai Baskov, Denis Maidanov, as well as Elena Sever and YurKiss, who also acted as presenters, presented their creativity to the workers of the Obukhov plant.

Shortly before the concert of the stars of the RU.TV channel, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin visited the enterprise. He noted the reliability and good performance of the plant. Following the example of the head of the country and, as always, supporting the President, the performers also went to the famous enterprise and walked through the same workshops, inspired by the skill of the workers.

Victory is “forged” not only on the battlefield, but also in factories producing military equipment. “We act on the line of contact, raising the morale of the military personnel. We want to support the home front workers too! And we hope that our songs are the same weapon that helps you in your struggle and in the common cause of bringing Victory closer,” the frontman of the group “Zemlyane” and Yuri Kiselev noted in an address to the plant workers.

Inspired by great predecessors: Lydia Ruslanova, Leonid Utesov, Klavdiya Shulzhenko and other cultural figures who, during the Great Patriotic War, paid for the production of Katyushas, ​​T-34 tanks, aircraft and heavy armored vehicles from their personal funds, the artists of the RU.TV channel together with The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia today is contributing to the approach of Victory. Russian stars take whatever part they can in purchasing equipment and components for the needs of the Northern Military District, rewarding production leaders for their work, additionally motivating plant workers to increase the productivity of their work.

Equipment purchased with funds from popular performers is sent to army units where the need is greatest.

“What the Russian Media Group and the RU.TV channel are doing is necessary and correct,” Nikolai Baskov emphasized. – People who work tirelessly for the good of our Motherland, they are cut off from the outside world, from the holidays. And today we came here to support them and say words of gratitude. It was a good tradition to perform at closed military factories during the Great Patriotic War, when artists supported people who completely devote themselves to their Motherland. And today it is a great honor for me to shake hands with those who work at the plant.”

“We, the artists, are joining the important cause of helping our soldiers participating in the Northern Military District. They need not only warm words and moral support, but also military equipment that allows them to confidently move forward to Victory,” Elena Sever said from the stage.

At the concert, the artists performed their best songs, and Elena Sever, YurKiss and the group “Earthlings” presented the production leaders with monetary certificates “For dedicated work in the production of military equipment for the needs of the Northern Military District,” which is the artists’ contribution to accelerating the pace of production of military equipment for the front.

The RU.TV television channel expresses gratitude to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and in the future will continue to organize joint actions aimed at providing assistance to the front and supporting the participants of the Northern Military District.
