Joseph Stalin’s nephew Leonid Alliluyev died on Wednesday afternoon in Moscow.
As MK learned, a 94-year-old man became ill in his apartment in a high-rise building on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment at about 4 p.m. His daughter called an ambulance. Doctors tried to resuscitate Alliluyev, but to no avail.
Leonid Stanislavovich was the son of the writer Anna Alliluyeva, the sister of Joseph Stalin’s wife Nadezhda Alliluyeva.
