St. Petersburg athletes won medals at the Russian Vaulting Championship

The Russian Vaulting Championship was held in the Tver region. Petersburg athletes brought four medals and two cups to the banks of the Neva – crystal and amateur.
Arina Savelyeva won bronze among juniors, Arseniy Nikitin won silver among juniors, Svetlana Solovieva took gold among amateurs, Anastasia Vinogradova won bronze. In addition, the Amateur Cup of the Vice-President of the Russian Equestrian Federation “Silver Turi” and a crystal cup also left for St. Petersburg.
Vaulting is a type of equestrian sport, which is the performance of gymnastic and acrobatic exercises on horseback. The Championship in Tver was attended by about 200 athletes from 12 regions of Russia: Moscow, Moscow region, Lipetsk region, St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Vologda, Pskov, Novgorod, Novosibirsk regions, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Udmurt Republic.
