The French luxury brand dedicated its new collection to the famous artist Pablo Picasso. On the snow-white surfaces of pens, lighters and ashtrays, a colored linocut print of “Portrait of Jacqueline in a Straw Hat” from 1962 is depicted. Its prototype was Jacqueline Rock, Picasso’s second wife and muse. They met in 1952 and lived together until the artist’s death in 1973. Throughout his life, Picasso created about 400 portraits of Jacqueline.
ST Dupont Picasso lighters and pens are made of brass with palladium and natural lacquer finishes. The ashtray is made of bone china with silver plated and varnish. Accessories from the Picasso collection, limited to 1,962 pieces, are available from Mercury multi-brands.
