The “Spring Starts” swimming competition was held in the Boksitogorsk region. 58 athletes from Boksitogorsk, Pikalev and Tikhvin competed in the pool of the local water sports complex, the press service of the district administration said.
The competition began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. Participants then competed in several categories.
17 sets of awards were played among men and women of different age categories. Athletes covered distances of 50, 100 and 400 meters in freestyle.
