Spring has come, the Firebird has arrived!

In Moscow, at the Expocentre, the 20th exhibition-fair of folk art crafts and crafts of Russia “The Firebird. Spring 2023″. The exhibition is organized by the Association “Folk Artistic Crafts of Russia” with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition-fair “Firebird” is an annual meeting of craftsmen, here you can see craftsmen who demonstrate their products.

The main goal of the Firebird festival is to revive the traditions of folk art. More than 600 craft enterprises, craft workshops and private artisans from 40 regions of Russia took part in the festival. At the spring exhibition, creators-artists and, I’m not afraid of a big word, geniuses from various regions of Russia, as well as guests – participants from two neighboring countries: Belarus and Uzbekistan, surprised with their skill.

The Firebird is a character of Slavic folk fairy tales, a bird with golden and silver wings, from which a bright glow comes, and her eyes sparkle …

It is no coincidence that the exhibition is named after a magical bird: the bright radiance of all kinds of products, the richest palette of folk crafts and crafts brought together – traditional, modern and original author’s products of artists and designers.

The choice of goods is very extensive: from ceramics and porcelain to designer toys and folk clothes, any visitor can buy something interesting. After talking with the craftsmen, visitors will learn about a variety of types of crafts: traditional, modern and original author’s products.

The exhibition is not just trade, but also an extensive business program. The participants were able to sell their products, exchange experiences and discuss with colleagues and consumers new types of products, development trends in folk arts and crafts, establish business contacts with new partners and increase sales.

For young visitors, an interactive platform was traditionally organized with entertaining master classes in various types of folk art.

The cultural program of the exhibition is extensive and varied. Its participants were folklore and ethnic creative groups, performers of various genres of folk art – participants and laureates of various international and all-Russian competitions from Moscow and the Moscow region, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Crimea and other regions.
