Spotify streaming service changed the type of icon that users use to add a song or album to their library. Now instead of a “heart” users will click on the icon in the form of a “plus”. The new button also combined the like and add to playlists functionality.
If the user wants to add a track to his library, he can click on the “plus” once, the icon of which will then change to a check mark on a green background. When you click on the icon again, you can choose which playlists to add the song to.
According to the developers, the new feature is designed to simplify the interface of the service and make the process of adding a song or podcast to your media library more convenient. The new like icon is coming to iOS and Andoid soon. Currently, Spotify is not available to Russian users without a VPN. Earlier, the service left the Russian market due to the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine.
