Sports are becoming popular: you can choose a sports school for your child now in a “one-stop shop” mode

A unified sports service is being created in Russia

Russians will be able to enroll their child in a sports school or choose sports activities for themselves without leaving home. As previously reported, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, the state information system “Sport” (FKiS) was launched in the country and it is planned to create a special section “Sport” on unified portal of public services, where all sports opportunities will be collected. Currently, 85 regions and 3,611 sports organizations are connected to the system.

Running around sports schools in search of a coach for your child will soon become a thing of the past. Users of the State Services portal have the opportunity to enroll their child in sports schools using the “Enroll in a sports training organization” section. When submitting an application online, you can choose your sport and sports training organization. After the first visit to the school, all necessary information about the results of the entrance test, recommendations for admission and the necessary documents will be sent to the applicant. This convenient method will help to significantly reduce the time spent searching for a suitable sport and, accordingly, the period from submitting an application to the child’s first successes on competition grounds.

Moreover, already today on the open portal GIS “Sport” On the basis of the Unified Digital Platform “GosTech”, you can test a pilot service to determine a child’s predisposition to a sport. The service is being tested and filled with data, but is already quite informative.

At the moment, 85 regions and 3,611 sports organizations are connected to the system, more than 74,000 places are available for registration for stages of sports training. Parents have appreciated the convenience of the new service, having already submitted more than 40,000 applications. Now there is no need to go through numerous sections and collect scattered information – everything is available according to the “one window” principle. The service helps you remotely select a sports school and a sport that is of interest to the child, and all the necessary personal data – address, SNILS, the child’s medical policy – are added automatically.

In the future, passports of athletes, coaches and judges will appear on the “Sport” domain, and the ability to manage sports facilities will be implemented. New services are aimed at solving the everyday problems of athletes, amateurs, coaches, and competition organizers. Thus, Russians will have full access to physical education classes.

By the way, the state information system “Sport” is not the only one on the GosTech digital platform. The services of the Federal Property Management Agency “Federal Property Online” and the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund GIS Compulsory Medical Insurance are already operating successfully. In the near future, another 150 state information systems will be transferred to the digital platform, and the process of transferring regional services continues. This helps create better solutions for the people of the country. The work is being successfully carried out in the government under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev.

“Changing priorities to mass sports and sports training is a natural development of the industry, and the creation of an industrial solution for the GIS “Sport” (FKiS) using import-substituted technologies is an urgent need. An effective management system in the 21st century can only be digital. The federal state level imposes increased requirements for both reliability and safety. It’s gratifying that it was sport that became the pioneer in building a new type of management system,” said Igor Khomich, senior partner of the League of Digital Economy.

He added that digital technologies are actively used in elite sports: all international sports organizations attract leading technology companies to solve their problems.
