The group “Splin” was removed from the poster of the list of participants in the rock festival “Wind of Siberia”, which will be held in Novosibirsk on August 11-13. This drew the attention of the Telegram channel Siberiamedia.

The musical group disappeared from the list of participants in the event after public figures from the Union of Fathers of the Novosibirsk Region demanded to cancel its performance. As the organization said on March 30, the leader of the group, Alexander Vasiliev, “showed whose side he is on and whom he supports.”

“They will broadcast their views to a wide audience, and they will also earn money from it. And where will they spend them, where will they go, to support whom? It is necessary to strengthen control over these organizers, ”the organization’s post reads. “In contact with”.

The organizers of the festival, as well as the Splin group, have not yet commented on the situation.

In August 2022, Alexander Vasilyev at the Chernozem rock festival near Voronezh spoke in support of the musicians who left Russia after the start of the military operation in Ukraine. After that, the group’s concerts throughout the country began to endure.
