Speed skating championship of the North-West Federal District ended in the Arctic

In the Murmansk region from February 1 to February 3, the championship of the North-Western Federal District (NWFD) in speed skating was held. In Olenegorsk, boys and girls of two age groups fought for the title of the best.
The championship was attended by young athletes 14-15 and 16-17 years old.
The winners and prize-winners of the championship were announced immediately after the end of the sporting events. The professionals of the Kola Arctic proved worthy of themselves and defended the honor of the region.
The championship was held on the basis of the Olimp Sports School in Olenegorsk. The official announcement of the event was presented on the website of the educational institution.
Athletes from the Vologda region, St. Petersburg and the Republics of Komi and Karelia took part in the championship along with the northerners.
Earlier, MK in Murmansk said that the Murmansk hockey club Arktika finished away series of matches with one victory.
