The Russian Premier League (RPL) commission for assessing the quality of football fields came to the conclusion that the Lukoil Arena football field does not comply with the RPL regulations and the standards of the Russian Football Union. In this regard, football matches at this stadium are temporarily suspended, according to the official website of the RPL.
In accordance with the regulations of the Russian Championship, on March 1, Spartak must inform the league about the location of the 20th round match with Fakel (Voronezh), which is to take place on March 10. Otherwise, the time and place of the match will be assigned by the RPL. Lukoil Arena’s permission to host football matches will be determined based on the results of weekly monitoring of the football field.
