“Spartak” tried all the roles – Kommersant

The most exciting match of the opening round of the Russian championship was played on its final day. Spartak took the lead at home in the first half of the meeting with Orenburg, conceded two goals in the second, but still managed to snatch the victory in the end – 3: 2 – thanks to Daniil Khlusevich’s double.
Sunday’s Moscow match immediately hinted at the fact that he shines the laurels of the most boring tour. Orenburg, as it turned out, having changed the coach Marcel Lichka, who left for Dynamo, to Jiri Yaroshik, retained a taste for football, in which, even if it is a confrontation with the grand, caution is by no means an absolute priority. And Spartak was similar to the Spartak that surprised at the beginning of the last championship, that is, immediately after it was headed by the young Spanish coach Guillermo Abascal, with freshness, quickness and pretty recklessness. All in all, it was the perfect showdown between two teams that flaunted openness and didn’t want to give it up, whatever the side effects of it.
“Spartak” in this game from the knife looked prettier for a long time, having accumulated in half an hour a whole collection created thanks to speed and legs, and thought, but missed chances. Daniil Khlusevich, found in a chic position by Viktor Mozes, probably shot into the far corner and circled goalkeeper Nikolai Sysuev, but Matias Perez miraculously managed to secure him. Roman Zobnin also shot almost certainly: now Sysuev came to the rescue.
Khlusevich amazed with a trick that reminded of how in 1958 young Pelé scored against the Swedes in the World Cup final. The defenders watched as the Spartak player threw the ball over them, and then sent it hard on target.
Sysuev resisted.
Perhaps Abascal at that moment once again regretted that the application did not include Alexander Sobolev, who was serving a disqualification for the sin of last season, a center forward whose specialization is precisely the implementation of what was created, but the rest of the Spartak attack-oriented players, I must say, were in perfect order. And almost everyone worked for her.
“Orenburg”, however, did not forget to tingle in response. And once the injection was terribly unpleasant. Submission of Vladimir Poluyakhtov, who rushed along the empty Spartak flank, reached the head of Dmitry Vorobyov. The goalkeeper of “Spartak” Alexander Maksimenko hardly hoped for salvation, considering how close the forward was to the goal, how well he sent the ball into them. But the stand brought him salvation.
Spartak’s goal before the break came out, one might say, the quintessence of this cheerful and beautiful first half. The goal was aesthetic, one in which every component is good. The unexpected heel pass from Anton Zinkovsky to Quincy Promes was good. The false swing and pause sustained by Promes were good and left the entire defense of Orenburg in the cold. Good was his transfer to an empty corner to Victor Moses, who, in order to score, had only to be careful.
And if someone thought that these delights knocked the Orenburg out of the rhythm, then at the beginning of the second half, he had to admit his mistake. No, the former Orenburg entered the field, which is always ready to fly forward. And Dmitry Vorobyov, caught on the offside line, drew his own masterpiece. Alexis Duarte and Daniil Khlusevich seem to have already taken him into the box, but after a moment they discovered that Vorobyov deftly slipped through the barrier they had built and managed, approaching Alexander Maksimenko, to gently throw the ball over the goalkeeper.
And the pattern, the logic of this goal was confirmed by the next attack of the guests.
“Spartak” again took a corner and again, after the loss, got stuck in the opponent’s half, while the Orenburg spring straightened up with monstrous swiftness
Lucas Vera cut the middle of the field with an amazing diagonal in terms of accuracy and timing, which went to another Argentine – Gabriel Florentin. Florentin advanced to the penalty area and aimed at the point where it was necessary to send the ball so that Maksimenko could not reach him. And it was foolish to think that everything interesting and heart-rending in this match was over. No, there was much more to come.
Spartak, of course, rushed to recoup. And he bounced back when Daniil Khlusevich, who just gave the ball to his opponents during the drawing of that ill-fated corner, having received the ball in his profile position on the left, moved to the center and shot. Sysuev, who was closed by his partner, had no prospects to repel the blow.
And Spartak pressed on, not agreeing that a draw in such a game is a good result. And in stoppage time, “Orenburg” put the squeeze on it. Once again, Daniil Khlusevich, who jumped out on Mikhail Ignatov’s graceful discount, who had not scored in Spartak before this meeting, distinguished himself again, and then he suddenly scored with a double that turned everything upside down.
Another formal favorite of the championship – Rostov, who fought to the last in the previous championship for medals – went to his home match against Fakel, faced with a serious problem. The not too long bench seemed to be the weak link of Rostovites anyway, and the International Football Federation (FIFA) in addition drew attention to their debt to the Swedish Norrköping for the transfer of Pontus Almqvist three years ago and forbade the club to register four newcomers – Mohammad Mohebi, Roman Akbashev, Alexei Ionov and Evgeny Chernov.
This circumstance did not prevent Rostov from decently crushing Fakel. True, after the Voronezh team quickly opened an account. But the Rostov pressure even before the break bore fruit in the form of Maxim Osipenko’s goal. And in the second half, Nikolai Komlichenko with a classy pass and Roman Tugarev with a classy blow brought the hosts a victory that, in the light of specific circumstances, is of particular value.
