US businessman Elon Musk’s company SpaceX on Monday launched a Falcon-9 launch vehicle with 40 OneWeb satellites, which Russia has refused to cooperate with. The launch took place from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
“We took off from Florida. Thanks to our SpaceX colleagues for a successful launch,” OneWeb wrote on its official Twitter page.
In March of this year, Russia refused to launch OneWeb satellites due to the fact that the UK government refused to withdraw from the directors, while the organization did not give any guarantees that the satellites would not be used for military purposes as part of a Russian special military operation.
