Soyuz carrier rocket with Progress MS-24 launched from Baikonur

The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Progress MS-24 spacecraft launched to the International Space Station (ISS) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at about 04:08 Moscow time. The rocket launched the ship into orbit. The launch was broadcast by Roscosmos on video hosting YouTube.
It is expected that the flight of Progress MS-24 to the ISS will take about two days. Docking with the Zvezda service module is scheduled for 06:50 Moscow time on August 25.
Progress MS-24 will deliver almost 2.5 thousand cargoes to the ISS: 420 liters of drinking water, 500 kg of refueling fuel, 40 kg of compressed nitrogen in cylinders, about 1.5 tons of equipment, materials for experiments, as well as food and clothing for astronauts.
