The press service of the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a message stating the successful launch of a Soyuz-2.1v light-class rocket from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
“The space warhead of the rocket … as part of the Volga launch unit and the spacecraft launched in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense, at the estimated time of 23:34 (Moscow time) routinely separated from the second stage of the Soyuz-2.1v launch vehicle, – reported in the department.
The rocket launched at 23:25 Moscow time on August 1 from the Plesetsk State Test Cosmodrome of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Arkhangelsk Region.
