South Ural water polo players won the round of the Russian championship

The athlete of the Dynamo-Uralochka club won five victories in five games at the sixth round of the Superleague of the national championship held in Kirishi. Now the South Urals team occupies a leading position in the standings.

During the tour, athletes from Zlatoust defeated their principal rival – the reigning champion of the country “Kinef”. The match ended with the score 13:10. Also, the South Urals water polo players beat the teams “Ugra”, “Burevestnik”, “SKIF”, and “Spartak”.

“There are no clear favorites and outsiders in the top six, everyone fights almost on an equal footing. And we, as leaders, are tuned in beyond. Therefore, their trump cards are turned on: no less serious attitude and coaching ideas. This was especially true in a principled match at Kinef. It was the team that worked,” says Svyatoslav Nakoryakov, director of the Dynamo-Uralochka water polo club.

Now Zlatoust athletes are leading the standings. They have 35 points. The current champions of the country are second. Kinef has 30 points.

Note that a good result was shown by the second team of the Uralochka club. She played five matches, of which she won four. Uralochka is leading in the standings of its subgroup in the Major League.
