At the moment, no information has been received about the extension of the grain deal. The UN expresses concern about this fact, since the lack of notification of an extension can lead to misunderstandings and unforeseen consequences. It is expected that the parties to the transaction will take the necessary measures and notify the UN of the extension, if such a decision is nevertheless made.
Recall, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan expects that the agreement will be extended after July 17 thanks to the efforts of the UN and Ankara. At the same time, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian authorities did not make any statements about the extension of the grain deal.
