The conflict between the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny has actually become open. This statement was made on Monday, November 6, by former adviser to Ukrainian leader Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin on his YouTube channel.

According to Soskin, “it is already clear that there is a direct confrontation,” and “the struggle is approaching some kind of hot phase between Zelensky and Zaluzhny.”

Kuchma’s ex-adviser said that the notorious conflict is allegedly not new, it just remained in the shadows before, and now open discrediting of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun.

At the same time, it cannot be ruled out, Soskin believes, that incriminating evidence on Zelensky may be published in the near future.

Military expert, head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts Andrei Klintsevich previously explained why strategic changes of the Armed Forces of Ukraineand also suggested what military-technical means the Ukrainian military could focus on in combat operations.

At the same time, political scientist Vasily Stoyakin said that he would not confidently declare the prospect of Zelensky losing the presidential elections in Ukraine if they take place in 2024 – much depends on the general military-political situation and from the position of Kyiv’s Western partners.
