Sosedov called his dismissal from NTV “expulsion” and monstrous ingratitude

Rumors that Sergei Sosedov was fired from the NTV channel, where he hosted his program “Beyond the Boundaries,” have been circulating for days. In a conversation with MK, Sergei admitted for the first time: in January he really won’t appear on air anymore. At the same time, Sosedov assures that he still does not know the reason for his dismissal.

“The contract with me was not officially renewed,” says Sergei. – We have filmed all the programs that will be released in December. And in January, another presenter will appear on the program.​ I consider this an exile and monstrous ingratitude for my work in a difficult, difficult program. I did everything brilliantly. There will never be such presenters again, and no one can replace me.

Sergei assures that the dismissal came as a complete surprise to him. According to him, he did not have any conflicts with management. Nobody made any complaints about his work either.

“I was only told that a notification had arrived from the channel that they no longer needed my services,” says Sergei. – I have no idea why this happened. I gave this program two and a half years. Probably, such people – bright and principled – are not needed. I had iron discipline. I was never late for filming. And in return he demanded that everyone work like clockwork.

Sergei is worried about the audience, who have not yet been informed about his dismissal.

“I’m ashamed in front of the audience, because no one told them that there is now a different presenter on the program,” continues Sergei. “They come to the set, see another person and ask the program staff questions: “Where did their favorite presenter go?” But no one answers them. Everyone is silent, as if Sosedov had never existed.
