“Sopki.Sport”: a new sports center will open in Monchegorsk

In Monchegorsk, there is only one sports space for young people so far, but everything will change soon. A healthy lifestyle continues to be promoted in the city of the Murmansk region. This was reported in the press service of the local administration.
The new Sopki.Sport center will be opened by the end of November under a regional brand. In September of the current 2022, one such space, Sopki, has already been created.
“The project is being implemented on the initiative of the governor of the Murmansk region and with the support of the regional Ministry of Sports. One of the conditions for participation in this program is the size of the premises, which must be at least 120 sq.m. In Monchegorsk, the building at st. Moroshkovaya, 5a, where ANO “Tower” is located on the first two floors, – told the administration of Monchegorsk.
The facility is currently undergoing renovations. The purchase of all necessary equipment is also underway.
Earlier, MK in Murmansk said that the car repair depot of Murmansk was accused of low-quality repair.
