“Soon all the people will be turned on”: the head of the HRC commented on the EU sanctions

The head of the Human Rights Council, Valery Fadeev, said that he was indifferent to his inclusion in the EU sanctions package.
Earlier, a new, tenth in a row, package of EU sanctions against Russian legal entities and individuals was published. The EU imposed sanctions against the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Foreign Intelligence Service, Tinkoff Bank, Alfa Bank, Rosbank, as well as many individuals, including human rights activists, journalists, political scientists, media managers, military personnel, officials, as well as persons who are suspected of working in private military company “Wagner”.
Sanctions have also been imposed against the head of the Human Rights Council, Valery Fadeev, and the human rights commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova. Fadeev noted that he did not care, because “they no longer know who to turn on” and “soon all the people will turn on.”
