Japanese company Sony announcedthat from October 17, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will be able to use cloud streaming of games on the PlayStation 5 console. Feature was in beta testing since August.
When running games from the cloud, users will have access to add-ons, social activities and in-game purchases, and will be able to record up to three minutes of video and take screenshots. There will be a choice of resolutions from 720p to 4K at 60 frames per second. Performance will be limited only by the stability and speed of your Internet connection.
The service will operate in 30 countries, including the USA, Canada, Germany and France. It will not be available in Russia and Turkey. From the cloud you can launch Mortal Kombat 11, The Witcher 3, Resident Evil 4, Ghost of Tsushima, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Saints Row IV and other games.
