Social network X (formerly Twitter) has added a new feature that will help users of Apple devices log into profiles without a password. Thanks to the passwordless authentication system (passkey), you can log in using a fingerprint, face scan or PIN code.

Social network X previously made two-factor authentication a paid service for premium users. To compensate some users for the lack of this feature, the company decided to add the ability to log in via passkey.

The passkey standard is currently being actively developed among technology companies and is considered much more secure than regular passwords. Previously Amazon added passkey for authorization on the online store website and mobile application. Google also started suggest users to set authentication without passwords by default.
